Trijicon RMR cut — frequently asked questions

What optics fit the Trijicon RMR footprint?
The RMR footprint fits the Trijicon RMR, RMR HD, RMRcc (with adapter), Holosun 507c X2 and 507c v2, Holosun 407c, Swampfox Liberty / Justice, Riton 3 TACTIX MPRD, and several other red dots that share the original RMR mounting pattern. Does the RMR cut require a cover plate or adapter?
No. We mill a direct-to-slide cut so the RMR (or any RMR-footprint optic) bolts directly to your slide with no plate, no spacer, and no adapter. This gives you the lowest possible co-witness height and removes the most common failure point — the optic plate itself.
What's the turnaround time?
7 business days from when we receive your slide to when we ship it back. We provide a prepaid inbound shipping label the moment your order is placed, so the only variable is how fast you mail us the slide. Most customers get their slide back within 10–14 calendar days door-to-door.
Do you co-witness the rear sight?
By default we retain your existing rear sight in its factory location. If you want it deleted (some shooters prefer a clean look) or moved forward of the optic for a lower-1/3 co-witness setup, just say so when you place the order — both options are no-cost.
Will the optic still seal against water and dust?
Yes. Our cut depth and tolerance leave a fully-sealed contact surface around the optic perimeter — the same seal you'd get from a factory MOS or RXP slide. The cut is dry-machined to a 0.0005" tolerance and finished with a precision-honed perimeter, no burrs.
Is this work warrantied?
Yes. Every cut carries a lifetime workmanship warranty against any defect in the milling itself — depth, alignment, screw threads, perimeter finish. If the cut isn't right, we make it right at no charge including return shipping.
